Thomas Burke

Thomas Burke is an award-winning filmmaker and editor based out of Austin, Texas. Early in his career, Thomas received his B.B.A. in Digital Media Management from St. Edward’s University at Austin. Upon graduating in 2013, he joined a two year film and editing apprenticeship with the Austin Film Festival, working as their assistant editor for ‘ON STORY’ - AFF’s two-time Lone Star Emmy award winning TV series. Since then, Thomas has taken a strong interest in producing his own short and feature-length (narrative) films, some of which include his award winning western/drama 'THE MAKING OF THE LOST SON' (2015), as well as 'AFTER THE NIGHT WITH VALERIE' (2020), which was recently awarded 'Best Feature Film' at the DMOFF 2020. Today, Thomas is the lead editor and producer for an independently owned science and health-based news organization in Central Texas.
