Siti Zainab (December 31, 1935 – August 21, 2014) was an Indonesian actress and dancer who was known for her role as a "Tari Remadja" dancer in Asrama Dara (1958). She was born on 31 December 1935 in Tanjong Malim, British Malaya, as the oldest child to Siti Khadijah and Kimpal. Her sister were Hindun binti Kimpal and her brother were Kamaruddin bin Kimpal. Zainab started her education by taking a course at cooking school in West Sumatera, she then completed her education at Sekolah Kepandaian Putri (SKP). Zainab began to work as a cooking teacher and dancer, she was very active in the early 50s. She made her last debut as a "Tari Remadja" dancer in Usmar Ismail directed film Asrama Dara (1958), after that Zainab quit her job. Zainab married to Indonesian ulama Zakaria bin Muhammad Amin on 1956 in Bengkalis. They had a seven children named Zulkarnain Zakaria (born 17 August 1957), Nukman Zakaria (born 20 June 1960), Rinie Yuslina Fairuz Zakaria (25 July 1964 – 14 March 2021), Gamal Abdul Nasir Zakaria (born 22 June 1965), Rita Puspa Zakaria (born 20 November 1967), Nida Suryani Zakaria (born 15 April 1971), and Sri Purnama Zakaria (born 20 October 1973). Their marriage lasted until Zakaria's death on 1 January 2006. Zainab died at her residence in Kelapapati, Bengkalis, on 21 August 2014, due to heart attack at the age of 78. Her funeral was held at Taman Makam Islam Harapan.
